Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and raised in Richmond, Virginia, music producer Brandon "NameBrand" Bass has been creating music since the age of 13. Getting his start making beats for his brother, Michael Millions, NameBrand has become one of RVAs most well-known and sought after producers.

He describes his sounds as an eclectic fusion of funk, old school Hip Hop and raw musical instrumentation. With influences such as Dr. Dre, Pharrell, Kanye West, Nottz, and Timbaland, NameBrand brings a fresh and innovative approach to the art of music production.

In 2013, NameBrand dropped his debut project, Saturday Morning, featuring a host of talent from RVA, including AGM's Nickelus F and Radio B, as well as Jon Bibbs and SteadyFam.

In 2015, NameBrand will release his first "beat tape," PrayDreams.  After studying his predecessors J Dilla, Pete Rock, and Dj Premier, NameBrand decided to take a different approach to the beat tape. PrayDreams contains soundscapes that will spark creativity in a multitude of artist. Sounds that will spans across multiple genres.

NameBrand is an advocate for higher education with a Bachelor of Science Degree  in Computer Information Technology from Norfolk State University and a Masters Degree in Management Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology. He hopes to be able to inspire the youth to achieve their dreams while excelling academically.
